Description

Feed Grade Attapulgite Mycotoxin Binder
Attapulgite, also known as palygorskite,is a hydrous magnesium-rich aluminum silicate mineral with a layered chain structure.Attapulgite clay refers to a natural non-metallic adhesive mineral with attapulgite as the main mineral component, belongs to the seafoam tribe in the mineral academically.
Product description
The cross-sectional diameter of the attapulgite pores is less than 1nm,and most molecules can not enter the attapulgite pores. The adsorption on the outer surface of attapulgite is colloid and ion exchange.

Attapulgite has selective adsorption of substances, such as aflatoxin etc.polar toxins can be adsorbed into the intestinal pores then remove aflatoxin.
The large specific surface area of attapulgite can quickly disperse and cover the surface of the digestive tract mucosa after entering the digestive tract, forming a colloidal film with a certain strength and containing a large amount of structural water, reducing the wear and tear of chyme on the intestinal mucosal surface, and the contact between bacterial toxins and other harmful factors and intestinal mucosal surface,to maintain a good physiological state of the gastrointestinal tract;it has ion exchange properties, the ions released play a catalytic role in activating enzymes during digestion.Attaplgite’s isomorphism substitution and non-uniform charge distribution can absorb bacteria and toxins, then excreted with chyme, reduce harmful factors in the gastrointestinal tract, and produce a certain buffering effect on the PH of salt solutions or water medium to control diarrhea more effectively.
